SOLAR ORBIT, NEAR MARS – Late this evening a message was received by NASA from intelligent life in orbit near Mars. The alien message was: "What is this crap on MTV? Made, what is that? Laguna Beach? Put some damn music videos or we will destroy your planet."

The aliens did not identify themselves, nor did they state their purpose for being so near Earth. Officials at NASA are both intrigued and worried. NASA Administrator Michael Griffin stated "This is deeply troubling to all of us at NASA, since we also miss the days of music videos". Griffin then added "The occasional image of an astronaut on the moon didn't hurt us either".

As of yet, MTV has not released a statement.
