GOATSBORRO, TENNESSEE – In a research project conducted by eight U.S. universities,
a startling fact has emerged. According to the findings, it is actually
now more cost efficient to find a Pegasus, train it, then fly it around
than attempting to operate a mid size sedan for one
month. Head
researcher Dr. Andrew Pilowski of the University of Goatsborro held a
press
conference on Tuesday and announced that “finally, after
years of
inflated gas prices, a cheaper form of transportation has been
found”.
“We crunched all the numbers and found that simply looking
for a
Pegasus, then using its abilities costs far less money than driving a
mid size car,” said Dr. Pilowski, “not
even the
hybrids can touch it with the current gas prices”. When asked
about the cost of the animal, Pilowski said “The
Pegasus
could live up to 30 years and should only eat hay or oats or something.
That stuff is cheap!”
The only catch seems to be that the Pegasus is a mythical winged horse
from Greek legend that does not seem to actually exist. In response to
this argument Dr. Pilowski, who has dual PhDs in Mechanical Engineering
and Mythical Animal Husbandry, said: “Hey, it's not like
we're
recommending people try to find unicorns. That's just
ridiculous!”
